What does it look like, to give back to your community in a profound way? With a mission to help pets (and people!) live the good life, this is something we’ve asked ourselves many times. Now, as a Make-A-Wish partner, we’re able to give back to deserving kids living with serious illnesses.
Research shows that wishes can give kids the strength to fight against, and even overcome, a critical illness…These conditions might include transplants, cystic fibrosis, genetic conditions, lung disease, cancer, sickle cell disease and many other medically complex illnesses that often do not qualify children for support from other pediatric charities. Wishes are granted to every child referred to us who is deemed medically eligible. wish.org/minnesota
This year alone, we’ve been honored to donate supplies and grooming experiences, to children receiving a furrever friend. We take great pride in knowing that we’ve been able to ensure that they’re well-prepared for pet ownership. Take a look at pomeranian puppy Cash, below, who found a new home with Tamra (15) from Eagan, MN! The duo went home with special food, toys, a carefully selected light blue collar and leash.

Since 1982, Make-A-Wish Minnesota has granted more than 6,000 wishes to create hope, strength and joy for wish kids, their families and entire communities.
