Qualifications: Prior grooming or bathing experience is a plus, but not a must. Skill Requirements:  Kindness: It’s crucial to grasp that animals may frequently feel highly stressed in new or unfamiliar settings. Bathers/Grooming assistants should have a profound understanding of this and respond to all situations with genuine kindness and compassion.

Ambassador For Safety:  Ensure your safety while grooming pets by understanding animal behavior and body language. Critical thinking in high-pressure situations is essential to prevent injuries to both yourself and the animals, as they can be unpredictable.

Training: Get ready for a thorough in-store training with a manager! You’ll also have the chance to attend advanced pet and pet product training courses, as well as occasional in-store sessions. And don’t worry, your managers will be there to guide you every step of the way.

Salary Range: Bathers will receive a competitive hourly rate plus tips.

Time Commitment: This role for Bathers offers the flexibility of being hired on either a full-time or part-time basis, with hours tailored to match. As the need arises, overtime may be necessary. Kindly be aware that schedules may be adjusted to align with the demands of our business, as decided by management.

Physical Requirements: Our position calls for plenty of physical activity, like standing for extended periods, safely lifting and holding dogs or cats, and doing a fair amount of bending, leaning, and crouching. We’re looking for someone who can handle the challenge of regularly lifting and carrying around 60 pounds.

Duties include:

• Delivering customer service the Pet Evolution way, to both owners and their cherished pets.
• Engaging with customers through open-ended questions to ascertain the optimal approach to pet care, while maintaining patience in all interactions.
• Dedicating efforts to provide outstanding service and grooming quality, with the ultimate goal of leaving all customers content and pleased.
• Demonstrating keen attention to detail by carefully adhering to precise customer instructions.
• Attentively overseeing pet behavior to ensure the safety and well-being of both the pet and oneself.
• Providing clients with education regarding various packages and their associated benefits.
• Professional bathing to include:
• Care and compassion for animals
• Checking for parasites and other skin conditions
• Bathing and care of animals
• Prepping a dog for fellow teammate
• Detangling and removing matted fur
• Drying the coat
• Trimming nails
• Cleaning the ears
• Grand expressions
• Brushing teeth
  • Servicing walk in clients on a la carte services
• Promoting additional services and retail products to support pet well-being until their next appointment.
• Proficiency in time management is essential.
• Keeping abreast of changes and trends in the pet industry and grooming best practices.
• Meticulously maintaining customer record retention by entering precise customer details and specific grooming notes.
• Efficiently handling phone inquiries and expertly coordinating grooming appointments.
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment by regularly tidying the facility and equipment.
• Assisting Groomers when required.
• Eagerly and proficiently completing other duties delegated by supervisors with a positive and efficient approach.
