Fall Recipes for Your Pet

We hate to bring up this controversial topic, but... it's pumpkin spice season! People seem to either REALLY love this time of year, or don't. Regardless of which camp you are in, pets often like pumpkin!

Plus, pumpkin is healthy for them! Pumpkin is a nutrient-packed food that is low in calories yet full of essential vitamins and minerals. Pumpkin is loaded with vitamin A, potassium, and fiber, leading to benefits in their eye health, digestive system and their skin and coat.*

In honor of the fall season, we’re sharing this recipe from our creative staff! We love both Weruva and Open Farm products (which we carry in our store!) because they use quality ingredients and have incredibly high standards for their entire food-making process. Use this "Tummy Warming Dinner Topper” to add fall flavor and a boost of nutrition to your pet’s next meal!

What You’ll Need:

  • Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up 1/4 to 1/2 package of dogs under 50lbs or cats. For dogs over 50lb, feed entire package.

  • Open Farm Bone Broth Two Tablespoons for every 10lb in weight

Instructions:

  • Start by adding in the pumpkin pouch into their food

  • Next add in the bone broth -- consider warming up the broth slightly to make this a warm tummy treat!

  • Stir mixture with kibble until completely coated

  • Feed!
