Dental Health for Pets

Updated: Mar 4

February is National Pet Dental Month. And in honor of this important health initiative, we want to point out some simple ways to protect your pets’ teeth and overall health.

By the time they’re 4 years old, 85% of dogs and cats show signs of oral disease. And if left untreated, oral disease can lead to severe pain, bad breath and tooth loss. That’s not good for your pet, nor your wallet!

So here are a few products that are super easy to use, and also effective:

KISSABLE DOG – CUCUMBER MINT TOOTHPASTE Nothing fights bad breath, gum disease, tartar and plaque better than a toothbrush and paste! This formula is made with tea tree oil, which has antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. Brush daily using short, horizontal strokes making sure to reach every tooth. 100% safe to swallow – no rinsing needed.

TERRABONE DENTAL BONES This bone chew is made with real peppermint and parsley. It is rich in fiber, but low in fat and calories. Easy to digest, the bone features a texture designed to clean teeth and help support healthy gums. Terrabone is proudly made in the USA and contain no wheat, no corn, no soy, no gluten and no artificial ingredients.

OXYFRESH DENTAL GEL This fast-acting Gel is tasteless and odorless — pets love it. With regular use, it delivers cleaner teeth, removes plaque, conditions gums. Sounds like a breath of fresh air to us!

PLAQUE OFF POWDER Mix up your pet’s dental care with this topical powder. This 100% natural powder is meant to be sprinkled or mixed in to your pet’s meal. Made in Sweden from selected North Atlantic seaweed.

SMILE (for cats) & GRIN (for dogs) GRAINFREE CHEWS It’s dental care in the form of a treat! Made from Natural ingredients, these chews tackle the root of dental issues by stopping plaque and tartar build-up in its tracks. Yummy enough for regular use!

MAMMOTH FLOSSY CHEWS Dental care disguised as play! Mammoth Flossy Chews are made from premium quality poly-cotton yarns ideal for interactive playing, tossing, and tugging. The rope fibers will floss teeth while your pup plays!

Just remember, your personal daily hygiene routine includes taking care of your teeth. Your pet’s teeth have that same need!
