Qualifications: Customer service experience preferred, but not required. Consistently adhere to company policies and procedures, complete assigned duties, and maintain a positive and helpful attitude. Success in our company is driven by achievement, empathy, integrity, pride, and strong social skills.

 Training: Successful completion of an extensive in-store training period with a manager is a fundamental requirement. Additionally, regular attendance at advanced pet and pet product-training courses, as well as occasional in-store training sessions, is obligatory. Your managers will also offer on-the-job instruction. 

 Salary Range:The salary range for Wellness Associates is determined based on their prior work experience.

 Physical Requirements: Our ideal candidate must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Take this opportunity to be an essential part of our store operations and assist our valued customers.

Customer experience duties include:  

  • Actively greeting and interacting with customers to inquire about their pets and how Pet Evolution’s products and services, including the Good Life Membership, can cater to their needs. 
  • Operating a point-of-sale register with precision and efficiency for tasks such as sales, returns, appointment booking, and daily reconciliation. 
  • Promoting and skillfully selling the advantages of Good Life Membership to our clientele. 
  • Ensuring a pleasant and professional phone experience by delivering accurate information to callers. 
  • Keeping the facility and equipment clean through diligent maintenance and cleaning routines. 
  • Efficiently handling merchandise by organizing, stocking, and actively monitoring shrink and inventory considerations. 
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting with the transportation of merchandise to their vehicles. 
  • Fostering the confidence to effectively handle objections and provide satisfactory resolutions.
  • Taking the initiative to stay informed and knowledgeable about pets, pet products, and services through methods like classes, reading, on-the-job training, and available resources.
  • Ensuring awareness of sales promotions, contests, and company goals to contribute effectively to the organization.
  • Displaying a cheerful and efficient work ethic while accomplishing tasks assigned by supervisors.
